The company is engaged in commercial construction and land development in Kolkata, India. It is a niche player in the construction area focusing on quality over quantity. The biggest asset of the company is its credibility and personal touch.

 

Finished Building

The company has already constructed a high-end residential complex - Maruti Sadan which is located in the posh locality of Dover Park, Ballygunge, Kolkata. This complex consists of 23 exclusive apartments having a total covered area of around 105,000 square feet.

 

The 7-storied luxury building is one of the well known residential addresses and is equipped with world class facilities. The gym area includes world class equipment and a personal trainer available on all days. The gym, sauna and steam facilities are also available exclusively to the families in the residence. A banquet hall for parties is also available with an attached lawn of approx 4,000 sq. ft. The Company is still involved in the building and ensures the immaculate management of the building. The company has been given the exclusive mandate by a couple of investors to lease out and handle their rentals in the building. These flats are rented exclusively to foreign embassies and expatriates.

In the immediate pipeline

The company has four projects in the pipeline as of 2009. These projects are in various stages of implementation.

  1. Invitation only Residential project in Kolkata, India

    The Russell Street/Chowringhee project is high-end exclusive residential project. The project envisages construction of 30 floors with one apartment per floor and state of the art luxury facilities. It will over look the greens of Kolkata Maidan, Victoria Memorial, Howrah Bridge and Vidya Sagar Setu. The site which has already been acquired is ideally located in the heart of Kolkata. Its unique location gives it the cutting edge and would make the most exclusive luxurious residential apartment complex in Kolkata. The residential complex on Russell Street will have an area of around 150,000 square feet. The project will also have exclusive showrooms and boutiques on the Chowringhee Road.
     

  2. Commercial shopping complex and office space

    The shopping cum office space complex is located in Raigarh, Chattisgarh - 8 hours from Kolkata by train. Raigarh is a tier three town dominated by the steel industry. It is the location of the Jindal Steel plant and many other ancillary factories. It is smaller town than the capital of Chattisgarh- Raipur but has seen faster growth and the need for commercial space is evident. The company has constructed a G+4 project of 45,000 square feet in the heart of town. The unique location on New Road across the existing market and one km from the railway station make it a sought after address.

    The project is nearing completion and is expected to be inaugurated in the year 2010. The project has shops on the first 3 levels with a roof top restaurant. There is provision for ample parking with an underground level. The entire shopping space is air conditioned and is serviced by high speed lifts. Sale and lease of both shop space began in November 2009 and is fast filling out. There is one floor of exclusive office space (8,000 sq ft) on the fourth floor for which enquiries are welcome.
     

  3. Middle end housing project in Tollygunje, Kolkata and Howrah

    With the completion of South City and the improving of facilities, Tollygunje has become an attractive residential area. The company has acquired a site just off Tollygunje circular road and has drafted plans to make 150,000 square feet of residential apartments. The apartment complex will be a low rise - G+4 and will have typically one, two and three bedroom apartments. Construction is slated to start as soon as plans are approved by the required bodies.

    As Howrah takes its place as a satellite town of Kolkata the requirement for middle end housing is increasing. The company has acquired a site to construct a 300,000 square feet residential building. The apartment will be a G+7 construction with one and two bedroom apartments. Construction is slated to start as soon as plans are approved by the required bodies.
